“You really can’t taste the difference”. This is the skinny person’s mantra when it comes to persuading friends to try something from their low fat, low calorie, high fiber, no taste pantry!

Skinny people have somehow found the secret to eating health conscious foods…and loving it. From tofu to low fat sour cream, they have embraced healthier eating.
And it never fails; When they catch a glimpse of your disdain when asked about the taste they exclaim, ” You really can’t taste the difference!”

Have they all bought into foolishness or is it the truth and I’m just a health food hater?

I will explore the answer to this question by replacing unhealthy ingredients with healthy impostors in some of my family’s favorite recipes.
